Do Palestinians Really See and Treat Jerusalem as Holy?

Palestinians claim that Jerusalem is a "Muslim holy site" but dishonor it with irreverence and disrespectful actions. Jerusalem is considered a holy site by both Jews and Christians, who treat it with reverence.

Muslim Anti-Semitism in America - Star of David Carved on Infidel's Back

I have learned from Pajamas Media that an Arab author by the name of Mr. Alaa Alsaegh, who is an immigrant to the U.S. from Iraq, was attacked on August 14 of this year by Muslims in St. Louis, MO.  In the attack, Muslims stabbed him and carved a Star of David onto the flesh of his back.  

And not a peep from the Left-Stream Media on this hate crime. Shame. Shame. Shame.  What if the tables were turned would there be an outcry from the media? 


Apparently Muslims were offended because Mr. Alsaegh used his free speech rights to craft a poem called “Tears at the Heart of the Holocaust” on the website ArabsForIsrael.com to express his love for Jewish people and his sadness over 6 million Jews being murdered during the Holocaust. Mr. Alsaegh was branded an infidel by the Muslims in his community, believed his expression of freedom speech which was highly favorable to the Jewish people was a thought crime, and had threatened him many times prior to this outrageous, hate-filled, and vile incident.

In broad daylight and heavy traffic on Aug. 14, Alsaegh paid the price for expressing love for the Jews. And it happened in the streets of St. Louis, right here in the heart of America. Author and courageous freedom fighter Nonie Darwish describes the horrific event:

As he was driving at 10:30 in the morning on Compton St. near Park Ave., a small white car cut him off and hit his car, while another car stopped behind him. The occupants of the cars, some of whom wore security guard-type uniforms, quickly entered Alsaegh’s car, pointing a gun at him. They pushed his upper body down against the steering wheel, stabbed him and pulled off his shirt to expose his back. Then, with a knife, they carved the Star of David on his back while laughing as they recited his pro-Jewish poem.

The FBI has concluded that this was a hate-crime.

Jamie Glazov goes onto ask these three questions:

[1] What if Alaa Alsaegh was a Muslim who was attacked by Christians in St. Louis who carved a cross on his back? Do you think this story would make it into the media?

[2] What if Alaa Alsaegh was a black man who was attacked by skinheads who carved KKK or a swastika onto his back? Do you think this story would make it into the media?

[3] What if Alaa Alsaegh was a Jew who expressed love of Muslims and was attacked for that by Jews who carved a crescent moon and star, a recognized symbol of Islam, onto his back? Do you think the story would make it into the media?

Jamie gives one more example of the media's silence when there is brutality and hate-crimes committed against Jewish people. 

This phenomenon explains why Ilan Halimi, a Jewish boy in France, was kidnapped by a Muslim gang several years ago in Paris, held in a secret Muslim concentration camp and barbarically tortured for 23 days until he died (with the torturers calling his mother and reciting Koranic verses to her while she heard his screams), and his name is still to be spoken in our media.

It is understandable, of course, why Halimi’s name is not spoken — or known — in our culture. If it were, then the fact would become well known that in the apartment building in which he was tied up and tortured, the myriad of dwellers in the building, all Muslims, heard Ilan’s screams. Not only did they not do anything to stop it, but many of them got in line to participate. And they took gratification and consolation from torturing their Jew, for Islamic theology dispenses numerous mandates and incentives for Muslims to hate, hurt, and kill Jews. To accept this fact annihilates the foundational structures of the leftist belief system; it takes the legs out from the progressive lies on which our culture is built. It is safer, therefore, not to acknowledge the names of Alaa Alsaegh and Ilan Halimi, let alone what happened to them and why.

The notion that his own society is unjust is the bedrock of the leftist’s vision. To recognize the evil of the people who carved the Star of David on Alaa Alsaegh’s back or who tortured Ilan Halimi, and to recognize the evil of the ideology that inspired them, is to admit the existence of pernicious adversarial faiths. Such an admission concedes that there are cultures and systems that are much more unjust than ours. This is an untenable step for leftists to take, because it means acknowledging that there is something superior about our civilization that’s worth saving and defending.

Showing compassion for Alaa Alsaegh and Ilan Halimi is, therefore, extremely dangerous for any leftist, as it would undermine his political faith. As I have documented in United in Hate, it would also expose him to potential excommunication from his social community — which is unfathomable for the majority of leftists, whose politics are, in the end, their social lives and, therefore, their sense of personal identity.

Where are all the "moderate" Muslims in our society who are willing to speak up against all violence, violence against the Jewish people or any other people besides Muslims?  But yet when people speak the truth and reveal the harsh intolerant nature of Islam they are called "Islamophobes".  I read Eric Metaxas's book on Dietrich Bonhoeffer and in it he pointed out that people were marginalized and demonized when they spoke out against Hitler, and then it was too late when people realized the evil nature of Hitler.   People need to wake up.

I support and Stand With Pamela Geller

I stand with Pamela Geller against antisemitism.

Antisemitism during World War II and now. Thanks to Matt at Conservative Hideout for giving me the idea to show pictures of antisemitism which took place during WWII and in recent times.

Pamela Geller is the admin of Atlas Shrugs, which many of you already know.   She is a leader in the cause of fighting the Islamification of America.  She is a leader in exposing the violence in Islam, and that violence which is being perpetrated against women.  Apparently she is finding out who really are her friends and/or supporters and who aren't.  She is a truly remarkable woman in this fight to keep our freedom and regain certain liberties in the United States.

I can say that Pamela Geller is passionate, remarkable, kind, and a great patriot because when I emailed her and asked her for help when I was trying to plan rallies in both New York City and Pittsburgh (or the Pittsburgh area) to protest against the DOJ's decision to put Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) on trial in NYC she wasn't just willing to be a speaker at the rally but she was so excited and extremely kind in offering to help out in guiding me with how to organize a protest.  Well, between a couple of hang ups which occurred, one of them being my health going south at the time unfortunately I wasn't able to make the protest happen.

Pamela has taken some hits for her being such an outspoken critic of Islamic extremism. But, now she has become a target from an unlikely source.  She has been a longtime supporter of the English Defense League (EDL) but there has been an ongoing problem with certain elements within the administration expressing sentiments of antisemitism which she felt the need to address publicly now.  Good for her.

However, it has become increasingly clear that the EDL has morphed and diverged from its original course. They now have clearly been infiltrated by the worst kind of influences, something that had successfully staved off for years, and they're no longer staving it off. Roberta Moore, the leader of the Jewish Division, has broken with the EDL. Perhaps the decentralization of the group or the loose grip Tommy Robinson held on its tether is responsible for this terrible shift in the EDL's direction -- I don't know. But whatever the case may be, the EDL has done a Charles Johnson. And they are now unrecognizable to me. I am sure regular Atlas readers have noticed that some time ago I stopped covering their events -- I was waiting to see how things would shake out. I was waiting to see if the forces of good would recapture the heart and soul of the group. Alas, it was not to be. 

Now that the person whom I most trusted in the EDL, Roberta Moore, has resigned, as she was increasingly uncomfortable with the neo-fascists that had infiltrated the administration of the group, I too am withdrawing my support from the EDL. I hope that genuine anti-jihadists in Britain will also leave the EDL and work with Roberta on starting a new group that will resist definitively and firmly all attempts to divert it from its mission of fighting against jihad and for human rights.


The leader of the EDL, Tommy Robinson, has released this statement:

The English Defence League was formed two years ago. One of the fundamental beliefs that this movement was built on was its support for Israel’s right to defend itself. In our first demonstrations, we went to Birmingham, and we flew the flag of Israel, the Star of David. In the first public speech I ever gave, I wore the Star of David in Leeds. The reason for this is because Israel is a shining star of democracy. If Israel falls, we all fall. This is what our movement has been built on for two years.

The English Defence League will not be deterred from its support for Israel and the Jewish people. Recently, in the EDL there have been internal arguments, which are nothing more than that. Every large family has its disagreements, but when push comes to shove, we all stand on the same side.

Meanwhile, some people on the fringes of this movement wish to direct it toward their own agenda. This will never happen. Israel is a beacon of democracy amid repressive Arab states. Recently some people have jumped on the EDL bandwagon and tried to use our platform to express anti-Semitic views. These statements are not in accord with the fundamental beliefs of the English Defence League. These people are not welcome, never have been welcome, and never will be welcome within the EDL. We reject all anti-Semitism. The EDL stands where it always has stood, which is side-by-side with Israel.
We repudiate any individual, group or writing that favors anti-Semitism, neofascism, and any race-based ideology. Any rogue elements within the EDL who go against our mission statement and our beliefs will be removed from the organization; we are determined to remain true to our mission. Anti-Semitism will not ever be tolerated within the EDL.

The EDL stands for freedom. It always has, it always will. We want the Jewish people and all free people to remain free forever, and we all stand together in this fight against Islamic jihad.

A Palestinian Terrorist Massacres the Israeli Fogel Family & Who Does the WSJ Call "Violent Vigilantes"?

On Friday night two Palestinians slayed an entire Israeli family in their house while they were sleeping: Rabbi Udi Fogel (36), his wife Ruth (34), 11-year-old Yoav, four-year-old Elad and three-month-old Hadas

 A Jewish family, including three young children, is stabbed to death by Palestinians, and the Wall Street Journal is worried about “violent Jewish vigilantes” against the Palestinians. 

Today’s Wall Street Journal report on the attacks includes the left-wing (and apparently self-hating) Jewish reporter, Joshua Mitnick’s worries–not about the Jews who are subject to violent slaughter and butchery, but that these Jews will be the “violent” ones.  Um, did this weekend’s slaying of the Fogel family not demonstrate who are the violent aggressors and who are their victims?  Apparently not to Mitnick, whose “reporting” is rarely different from the New York Times’ Mid-East coverage and who frequently inserts this kind of opinion and BS into his reports.  And that would explain why he was previously a welcomed “reporter” for the blatantly anti-Israel Christian Science Monitor.  Yesterday, this urinalist wrote:

The targeting of an area of Jewish settlers known for vigilantism against Palestinians also threatens to trigger an upsurge in violence.

That sentence appears in Mitnick’s article in today’s print edition of the Wall Street Journal.  What doesn’t appear online is the second part of the sentence, which is in the print edition, as well:

and police forces stepped up their presence on West Bank roads to prevent Arab-Jewish flare-ups as Israeli mourners from the funeral made their way home to the settlements.

For this "Jewish" reporter not to show one iota of empathy or condemnation of the perpetrators for the cold-blooded murder of an entire family, not to mention a 3 month old, 4 year old, and an 11 year old is abominable! Outrageous!   This reporter is sick!  This entire family just got massacred and this reporter is worried about "violent vigilante" Jews retaliating?  This is truly unbelievable!  This reporter must be living in his own indoctrination bubble filled with a recorder saying how "wonderful" and "peaceful" the Palestinian terrorists are and how "horrible: and "evil" Israel is, when this couldn't be further from the truth. This so-called Jew ought to just  stop pretending to be a Jew and become a Muslim since he seems to have so much love for Muslims and so much animosity and hatred towards Jews living in Israel.  The Jews were the victims and yet this moron blames the Jews.  Mitnick is standing up for the murderers, trying to play like they're the victims when these people are brutal barbarians who murdered a family while they were sleeping.  These Jewish settlers were mourning the deaths and this amoral whack job only cares about protecting the terrorists.  This friggin' dhimmitude must stop!  God rest the souls of this family.  Antisemitism in segments around the world is almost as bad today as it was during the days of WWII and in Nazi Germany.
